Our stay at the hotel Du Cheval Blanc was excellant. The hotel is situated close to the centre of St Pol De Leon with easy access to local bars, shops, the beach and the ferry port. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly. There was over night parking in the court yard. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental french breakfast was excellant. We would highly reccommend this hotel to other travellers in the area.

The hotelier made our party of three mature motorcyclists very welcome speaking very good English. Not only was there private parking but we were directed to an undercover space. The hotelier also was most helpful in advising us of suitable restaurants and bars. I cannot imagine a room and bathroom (with a full length bath!) to have been any cleaner, it was all spotless. The hotel was situated in the charming centre of the small town which I have bypassed many times as it is close to the ferry port of Roscoff but I will definitely visit again.
It could perhaps have been even better had the hotel had it's own restaurant and bar. There was nothing to dislike in this hotel unless one is elderly or infirm and needed the use of a lift.

The hotel owner is so welcoming and helpful. The room we had was plain, very well decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It overlooked the pretty yard which is also the car park. It is a charming hotel made all the more charming by the warm welcome. Breakfast was a fresh and plentiful continental breakfast with an excellent pot of tea. Great! Cannot recommend it too highly. Just be warned if you are a little incapacitated - there is no lift - just a lovely cool marble staircase.
